Our Barndominium Build Process
A transparent, step-by-step look at how we take your barndominium from concept to completion.

Overview
Building a barndominium is a multi-phase process that requires careful coordination between design, engineering, permitting, site work, steel erection, and interior finishing. At Plumb Level Construction, we've refined this process over decades to ensure smooth execution at every stage.
Our build process is designed for transparency. You'll know exactly where your project stands at every phase, with regular progress updates, photo documentation, and milestone reviews. No surprises, no hidden costs.
From the initial discovery call to the final key handoff, our process typically spans 6-10 months for a standard barndominium. Complex builds with custom features may take longer, but we'll set clear expectations from day one.

How long does the entire process take?
A standard barndominium takes 6-10 months from permit to completion. We'll give you a specific timeline during the design phase.
When do I make material selections?
Major selections (flooring, cabinets, countertops, fixtures) happen during Phase 1-2 so we can order with proper lead times.
What if there are weather delays?
Florida weather is factored into our timelines. We'll communicate any adjustments and their impact immediately.
